Isis Institute Office and Meeting Space

The Isis Institute leased office and meeting space in December 2005 and so has an official home! Please take a look at photos of our meeting space.

Our offices are at 1300 West Koenig Lane (2222) in Austin, TX 78756, west of Lamar and east of Burnet Road. This space offers great central Austin convenience: it is easily accessible from 183, Mopac and I-35. It is easy to find, too: right across the street from First Texas Honda, in a two-story office building with a well-lit parking lot in front.

Suite 180 of this office building is the Isis Institute's meeting space, 600 square feet in size, with a library room and a large storage closet opening into that room. In addition, Suite 170 serves as the office of the Jung Society of Austin.

The Isis Institute's lease permits meetings, workshops, and seminars to be scheduled and held on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays (the most practical times for our busy members).

The office building is open and light, well-maintained, and secure. The parking lot has 22 spaces, including 2 handicapped spaces. (Additional street parking is available, though some is across a busy street!) The building has bathrooms, and we will have an additional 400 square feet of meeting space upstairs available on an as-needed basis.

The Isis Institute wants to be a hub, a consortium, of women's groups and organizations. We invite collaborative projects with local women and like minded organizations and offer space for seminars, workshops, presentations, classes, groups, and meetings. If you know of a group or organization that is seeking warm, welcoming meeting space, surrounded by beautiful images of the Feminine, please let them know about the Isis Institute.

And of course if you would like a place to present an event, please consider Booking Isis' Meeting Space.

We'd like to thank our members, friends and volunteers who have helped make this dream a reality. We look forward to your continued support! And a special thank you to Blossom Burns, and to the Board of her organization, The Blossom Foundation, who made a home for Isis possible through their generous funding!
